Josie Bean and the Sprout liked to spend the day playing around Pretty Deep Pond. Now Pretty Deep Pond was not pretty deep, only about one foot deep actually, but that was its name nonetheless. Most days were spent sitting on the shore talking, or watching the birds come and go for a drink of water. Then one morning, the magic began. Josie and Sprout met Lester T. Kneedeep, a talking frog.

The very next day, they met Lester’s best friend, Harvey O’Leap, and together, the two talking frogs took Josie and Sprout to Frog World in a giant purple bubble.
